Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 August 2026
Play to Heal Therapy Centre is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Who we are
Play to Heal Therapy Centre is a play therapy and adolescent therapy practice based in Ennis, Co. Clare. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at playtohealplaytherapy@gmail.com or 085 252 3667.
What we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us through the contact form on this website:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The service you are interested in
- The content of your message
Please do not include clinical details, health information about a child, or other sensitive information in the contact form. If you need to discuss those, we will arrange a phone call or a confidential appointment.
Why we use it
We use the information you submit for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to arrange therapy sessions or room rental. The lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or share them with third parties for their own purposes.
How your message is handled
Contact form submissions are delivered to us by email through Brevo, an email delivery provider, which processes the message on our behalf in order to send it. You will also receive an automatic acknowledgement confirming we have received your message.
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to hold a reasonable record of our correspondence, then deleted.
Records relating to therapy itself are held separately under our clinical confidentiality and record-keeping obligations. Those are explained to clients directly and are not covered by this website policy.
Hosting and security
This website is hosted on Cloudflare’s network. Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses in order to serve the site securely and protect it from abuse. The contact form applies a rate limit per IP address to prevent spam.
Cookies
This website does not set any advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are enabled in future, a cookie banner will appear, and no analytics cookies will be set unless you accept them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and Irish data protection law you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
